Please read them before booking a job. ## 1. Who these terms are with CJH Waste Contractors, Sidcup, Kent. Contact 07946 841153 or 07455 708548 or info@cjhcontractors.co.uk. ## 2. Estimates and pricing Estimates are free and carry no obligation. Prices are based on the volume, waste type, access and information you give us. Our minimum charge is a £60 minimum call-out. The price agreed before work begins is the price you pay, provided the job matches what was described. If the volume or waste type is materially different on the day, we will stop, explain the difference and agree a revised figure with you before continuing. ## 3. Booking and access A booking is confirmed once a date and price are agreed. You are responsible for arranging access to the property and for telling us about parking restrictions, permit requirements, lifts, stairs or anything else that affects how the load is removed. You do not have to be present; many customers arrange key collection and receive photographs once the property is cleared. ## 4. What we will and will not take We remove household, garden, office and general construction waste. Certain items are restricted by law or by the licensed transfer stations we use, including asbestos, chemicals, gas bottles, clinical waste and some hazardous materials. Tell us in advance if you think any of these are present so we can advise on the right route for disposal. ## 5. Items to be kept Anything you want retained must be clearly identified or set aside before we begin. Once a clearance has started, we work on the basis that everything within the agreed area is to be removed, and we cannot recover items after disposal. ## 6. Waste carrying and disposal CJH Waste Contractors is registered with the Environment Agency as an upper-tier waste carrier. All loads are taken to licensed transfer stations, where as much as possible is separated for recycling and reuse. Transfer documentation can be provided on request. ## 7. Insurance and liability We hold £1,000,000 of public liability cover through Simply Business. We take reasonable care on every job. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, for damage arising from structural or access conditions we were not told about, or for loss of items that were not identified as being kept. ## 8. Payment Payment terms and accepted payment methods are confirmed with you when the job is booked, along with the agreed price. ## 9. Cancellation Let us know as early as possible if you need to cancel or move a booking, so the slot can be offered to another customer. We will do the same if circumstances beyond our control prevent us attending, and will offer the next available date. ## 10.
