Environment Agency upper-tier waste carrier · £1,000,000 public liability · fixed price agreed before we start

## Established in 2020
Charlie and the same crew on every job, nothing subcontracted out.

## Upper-tier waste carrier
Registered with the Environment Agency, with every load taken to licensed transfer stations.

## Fixed price before we start
£60 minimum call-out and one agreed figure, never a revised price once the van is loaded.

## 7am – 9pm, 7 days a week
Early starts, evenings and weekends, so completion and tenancy dates are workable.

## £1,000,000 public liability
Fully insured through Simply Business from the moment we arrive.

Overview

## The load nobody else will take
General waste clearance covers everything that falls outside a council collection: single bulky items such as sofas, mattresses and appliances; bagged household rubbish; office and shop waste; fly-tipped material dumped on your land; and the mixed loads that build up after a move, a refurbishment or a clear-out.

You do not load anything. We arrive, carry it out from wherever it is, flat, basement, alleyway, rear yard, third floor, load it and take it away. That labour is included in the price, which is the main practical difference between us and a skip.

Every load leaves under our Environment Agency upper-tier waste carrier registration and goes to licensed transfer stations, where recyclable material is separated. If you have ever had waste taken by someone with a van and no registration, this is the part that protects you: the legal duty of care sits with whoever produced the waste, and it only discharges when a registered carrier takes it.

### Who this service is for

- Householders with bulky items or a one-off load
- Landlords and agents clearing between tenancies
- Shops, offices and small businesses with trade waste
- Landowners dealing with fly-tipped material
- Anyone whose council collection cannot take the item
### When people call us

- A sofa, bed or appliance needs removing and will not fit in a car
- Council bulky waste collection is weeks away or will not take the item
- Waste has been fly-tipped on private land or a driveway
- A clear-out has produced more than the bins can handle
- A one-off trade load needs documented disposalNew here? See how CJH works, or browse every clearance service.

The cost of waiting

## Why waste sitting there is a liability
Uncollected waste does not stay a tidy pile. It attracts more waste and, in the wrong hands, it comes back to you.

### Fly-tipping liability returns to you
If waste you produced is dumped, the duty of care means enforcement can come back to you, not the man with the van who took it for cash. Always use a registered carrier and keep the record.

### Piles attract piles
One dumped mattress on a driveway or verge invites more within days. Clearing early is cheaper than clearing a fly-tip.

### Pests, hazards and complaints
Bagged waste attracts vermin and gulls, blocks access routes and generates neighbour and council complaints faster than anything else on a property.

### The usual mistakes
Paying cash to an unregistered collector found on social media. Booking a skip for a job that is really one van load. Assuming the council will take a mattress or a fridge on a normal round.

Our process

## How the job runs from first call to handover

- Step 1
### Tell us what and where
A description or a photograph is usually enough. We price on volume, access and waste type and give you a fixed figure.

- Step 2
### Slot booked to suit you
Same-week collection is common, and with 7am to 9pm working seven days a week, evenings and weekends are available.

- Step 3
### We carry and load
From wherever the waste sits, upstairs flat, rear garden, side alley, basement, we do all the lifting.

- Step 4
### Licensed, separated disposal
Loads go to licensed transfer stations where recyclable material is separated instead of everything going to landfill.

- Step 5
### Area swept clean
The collection point is swept off so you are not left with the mess the pile was hiding.

What you get

## Specific outcomes, not vague promises

### Loading included
Unlike a skip, the price covers the labour of carrying it out and loading it.

### No permits or waiting
No skip licence, no road bay, no wait for a delivery or an exchange.

### Single items welcome
One sofa or one fridge is a perfectly normal job: the £60 minimum call-out covers small collections.

### Legally protected disposal
Upper-tier Environment Agency registration and licensed transfer stations keep your duty of care intact.

### Seven-day availability
7am to 9pm every day, which is what makes short-notice collections possible.

### Insured throughout
£1,000,000 public liability cover through Simply Business.

In detail

## What we take, and how it is handled
Different waste streams have different rules. Sorting them properly is the difference between recycling and landfill.

### Bulky furniture and mattresses
Sofas, armchairs, beds, mattresses, wardrobes and dining sets are removed whole where access allows and dismantled where it does not. Upholstered items have their own disposal route.

### Appliances and electricals
Fridges, freezers, washing machines, cookers, televisions and computers are WEEE and are kept separate from general waste, with refrigerant-containing units handled correctly.

### Household and bagged waste
Post-clear-out bags, boxes and mixed household waste are collected in one go rather than trickled through bin collections over months.

### Fly-tipped waste on private land
Dumped material on driveways, car parks, alleys and land is cleared quickly and disposed of legally, which stops the pile from growing.

### Trade and commercial waste
Shops, salons, offices and small units produce waste that cannot go in domestic streams. We clear it as a registered carrier with documented disposal.

### What needs a specialist
Asbestos, clinical waste and hazardous chemicals require licensed specialists with consignment paperwork. We will say so plainly rather than take the load.

Questions

## General Waste Clearance questions, answered straight
Anything not covered here, call 07946 841153 or 07455 708548 and ask Charlie and the team directly: you will get a straight answer rather than a callback form.

Ask Us About Your Job

How much does rubbish clearance cost?+It is priced on volume, access and waste type, with a £60 minimum call-out. You are given a fixed price before anything is loaded.

Will you take a single item like a sofa or a fridge?+Yes. Single bulky items are a normal job for us, and the minimum call-out covers small collections.

Is it cheaper than a skip?+Usually, for anything up to a van load: because there is no permit, no delivery wait, and the loading labour is included in the price.

How do I know the waste is disposed of legally?+We are registered with the Environment Agency as an upper-tier waste carrier and use licensed transfer stations. Never hand waste to an unregistered collector: the liability stays with you.

Can you clear fly-tipped waste from my land?+Yes, and quickly, because a dumped pile attracts more waste within days.

How soon can you collect?+Often within a day or two. Working 7am to 9pm seven days a week means evening and weekend collections are available.

Do I need to be there for the collection?+Not if the waste is accessible. Many collections from driveways, gardens and yards are done unattended, with photographs sent afterwards.

Which areas do you cover?+Bromley, Dartford, Sidcup, Bexley, Bexleyheath, Welling, Eltham, Orpington, Chislehurst, Gravesend, Crayford and Erith.
