In detail ## Loft, garage and shed detail Each of these spaces holds a different problem, and the right approach is different for each. ### Boarded and unboarded lofts Unboarded roof spaces need care: working off joists, protecting insulation and ceilings below. We work to the structure rather than through it. ### Garages and integral stores Garages accumulate the heaviest items: freezers, tools, tyres, paint, timber offcuts and bikes. Each of these has a different disposal route and we split them accordingly. ### Sheds and outbuildings Where the shed itself is finished, we can empty it and dismantle and remove the structure in the same visit, including felt roofing, timber and the base if required. ### Paints, chemicals and fuels Old paint tins, solvents, garden chemicals and fuel cans are not general waste. Flag them at quote stage so they are handled correctly rather than discovered mid-load. ### Electricals and metals Freezers and fridges contain refrigerants and go through WEEE routes; scrap metal, tools and bike frames are separated for recycling. ### Before a loft conversion Conversions need the space completely clear, including old water tanks and redundant materials.
