Overview

## Site waste cleared without stopping the work
Builders waste removal is the collection and licensed disposal of construction and renovation waste: brick and concrete rubble, broken slabs and hardcore, plasterboard, timber and offcuts, old kitchens and bathrooms, tiles, insulation, packaging and general strip-out debris.

The value is in the timing. A load taken at 7am before the trades arrive, or at 8pm after they have gone, keeps the site clear without losing working hours. We operate 7am to 9pm seven days a week, which suits domestic renovations in Sidcup and Bexley just as well as it suits commercial sites in Dartford and Bromley.

Everything leaves under our Environment Agency upper-tier waste carrier registration and goes to licensed transfer stations, where inert material, timber, metal and plasterboard are separated. That gives contractors a clean duty-of-care position and homeowners the confidence that their renovation waste has not been dumped in a lane somewhere.

The cost of waiting

## What waste on site actually costs you
Debris is not just untidy. It slows trades, creates risk and creates liability.

### Productivity drops
Crews working around rubble move slower, damage finished work and lose tools in the pile. Labour is the most expensive thing on any site, and debris taxes all of it.

### Safety and access risks
Trip hazards, nails in timber, sharp tiles and blocked fire routes are the sort of thing that stops a job, or triggers an accident, long before anyone gets round to tidying.

### Duty of care follows the producer
Construction waste handed to an unregistered carrier remains your liability if it is fly-tipped. Registration is not optional paperwork; it is the thing that protects you.

### The usual mistakes
Overloading a skip so it cannot legally be collected. Mixing plasterboard into general waste and paying a penalty rate. Waiting for a skip exchange while the crew stands idle.

Our process

## How the job runs from first call to handover

- Step 1
### Volume and material check
Tell us what the waste is and roughly how much. Inert rubble, plasterboard, timber and mixed waste are all priced differently, so accuracy at this stage keeps the price accurate too.

- Step 2
### Collection slot booked around the trades
Early morning, evening or weekend slots keep the site working. Repeat collections can be scheduled across the length of a project.

- Step 3
### Loaded by us
We load by hand from wherever the waste is: front garden, rear yard, upper floor or garage. Your crew keeps working.

- Step 4
### Segregated licensed disposal
Loads are separated at licensed transfer stations so inert material, timber, metals and plasterboard go through the correct streams.

- Step 5
### Site left clear
The area is swept off so the next trade, or the client walkthrough, starts on a clean surface.

What you get

## Specific outcomes, not vague promises

### No permits, no waiting
Where a skip needs a licence and a bay, we arrive, load and leave the same visit.

### Loaded for you
The price includes the labour of loading, which a skip never does.

### Fits around the programme
7am to 9pm, seven days a week, so collections happen when the crew is not on site.

### Compliant, documented disposal
Upper-tier Environment Agency registration and licensed transfer stations protect your duty of care.

### Fixed price per load
Agreed before we start, with a £60 minimum call-out and no weight surprises after the fact.

### Insured on site
£1,000,000 public liability cover through Simply Business.

In detail

## Materials, methods and site variations
Construction waste is several regulated streams in one pile. Handling it properly is what keeps disposal legal and costs predictable.

### Inert rubble, concrete and hardcore
Brick, block, concrete, broken slabs and excavated hardcore are heavy but highly recyclable, and are crushed and reused where the transfer station processes them.

### Plasterboard
Plasterboard must be kept out of general mixed waste and disposed of separately. Tell us it is in the load so it is separated from the outset rather than surcharged later.

### Timber, kitchens and bathrooms
Stud, joists, floorboards, old kitchen carcasses, worktops, baths and sanitaryware are dismantled where needed and separated into timber, metal and general streams.

### Tiles, glass and packaging
Broken tiles and glazing are handled carefully and kept out of loose mixed loads; cardboard, film and packaging are recycled.

### What we cannot take
Asbestos and hazardous waste require a licensed specialist and their own consignment documentation. If you suspect asbestos, stop and have it identified: we will tell you honestly rather than take a chance with it.

### Domestic renovations vs commercial sites
Domestic jobs are usually one or two loads with parking as the main constraint. Commercial sites need scheduled collections, access planning and documentation, all of which we handle.

Ask Us About Your Job

How much does builders waste removal cost?+It depends on volume and material type; inert rubble, plasterboard and mixed waste are priced differently. There is a £60 minimum call-out and you get a fixed price before we load.

Is this cheaper than hiring a skip?+Frequently, once the permit, the delivery wait, the exchange charges and the labour of loading are counted. We load the waste ourselves, which a skip hire never includes.

Can you collect early in the morning or in the evening?+Yes. We work 7am to 9pm, seven days a week, specifically so collections can happen around the trades.

Do you take plasterboard?+Yes, but it must be separated from general waste at disposal. Mention it when you book so it is handled correctly and priced correctly.

Do you remove asbestos?+No. Asbestos requires a licensed specialist contractor. If you suspect it, stop work and have it identified before anything is disturbed.

Are you a licensed waste carrier for construction waste?+Yes. CJH is registered with the Environment Agency as an upper-tier waste carrier and uses licensed transfer stations for every load.

Can you do repeat collections through a project?+Yes. Scheduled collections across the length of a job are common and keep the site workable throughout.

Which areas do you cover for site waste?+Sidcup, Dartford, Crayford, Erith, Bexley, Bexleyheath, Welling, Eltham, Orpington, Bromley, Chislehurst and Gravesend.
